SynthPlay

SynthPlay is a polyphonic synthesizer for your Mac. Play it with your computer keyboard, the on-screen piano, or any USB or Bluetooth MIDI keyboard, which is picked up automatically when you plug it in. Build sounds from the ground up with two oscillators (with unison), a sub oscillator, a mixer, a resonant filter, amp and filter envelopes, and two LFOs that can modulate pitch, filter, amplitude, shape, pan, FM, and more. It plays up to 16 voices at once, with glide and a pitch wheel for expressive lines. Add movement and polish with the built-in arpeggiator, plus drive, chorus, ping-pong delay, and reverb. Live envelope and filter-curve displays and a level meter show what your sound is doing as you shape it. Not sure where to start? Browse the factory presets by category (Bass, Lead, Pad, Keys, Pluck, Brass, Bell, Arp, FX), or let the patch generator create a new sound for you. Save your own patches as user presets and come back to them anytime. SynthPlay runs entirely on your Mac. There is no account and no network access, and it needs no special permissions.
